Northeast storm predicted to make history

As a massive storm gears up to take over the northeast, locals prepare for what could be history in the making. New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts have all declared a state of emergency. With snow said to reach up to 30 inches, New York mayor Bill de Blasio has confirmed streets will be closed except to emergency vehicles beginning at 11:00PM Monday night.

New York mayor has advised the surrounding communities to keep travel to a minimum and making sure to have accommodations made by Monday evening. Northeast locals are not the only ones impacted by the blizzard, as thousands of flights are cancelled, it leaves many stuck between travel. The snowstorm is expected to range from Monday evening up until Wednesday morning.
